Ingredients used in Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients for Lab Stir Fry
2 tbsp vegetable oil - divided

One boneless chicken breast, sliced thin and cut
in 1 inch pieces.
½ onion, thinly sliced
¼ cup thinly sliced mini carrots (or shredded
carrots)
¼ each of a red, green & yellow pepper, sliced
and cut in 1” pieces.
1 cup broccoli florets
1 garlic cloves, minced
½ - 1 tsp fresh ginger (to taste....)

1. Prepare sauce of your choice and set aside, prepare vegetables, prepare protein. Have
everything ready before you start cooking! Get out 2 large, flat non-stick skillets.

In a large, flat skillet, heat 1 tbsp oil. Put chicken in
skillet in a single layer, season with salt and pepper.
Sauté chicken in skillet until almost cooked thru.

Remove chicken from heat. Add sauce ingredients,
return to medium heat and cook until cornstarch
dissolves and sauce thickens.

In a second skillet, heat the other tablespoon of oil.
Add onion and broccoli stems. Cook, stirring frequently
until the onion softens and turns golden. Stir in carrots.

Clear a space in the center of the hot skillet and bloom
garlic and ginger. When fragrant, add about ½ cup of
water, broccoli and peppers. Stir-fry using the water to
create some steam to speed cooking.

Add skillet of veggies to meat and sauce skillet, stir to
blend. Add a little more water if sauces thickens up too
much.
