THIS QUIT CLAIM DEED made this _____ day of _________, 20___, by and between

The designation Grantor and Grantee as used herein shall include said parties, their heirs,
successors, and assigns, and shall include singular, plural, masculine, feminine or neuter as required
by context.
WITNESSETH
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Cary, as authorized by S.L. 2015-84, adopted a
Resolution Delegating Authority to the Manager and Deputy Manager to Dispose of or Exchange
Certain Easement Interests; and
WHEREAS, Grantee owns a certain lot of parcel of land located in _____ County, North
Carolina and more particularly described in DEED BOOK at DEEDPAGE, ____ County Registry
(‘Property’) which Property is burdened by a _______ easement previously dedicated to the Town by
______, all or portions of which the Town no longer needs; and
WHEREAS, such previously dedicated easement, or the portion no longer needed by the
Town, is called ‘Easement Area to be Abandoned’ and described on Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the Recitals, the mutual benefits to be obtained, and for other
good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the Grantor has and
by these presents does hereby release, remise and quitclaim unto the Grantee forever, any interest
Grantor may have in that Easement Area to be Abandoned described in Exhibit A.
The aforementioned property is not the Grantor’s primary address.
