Multiplication Bingo
Use the card shown below. In the squares under Column B, write in any numbers that
are count-bys of 1. In the squares under Column I, write in any numbers that are
count-bys of 2. Continue this by writing in count-bys of 3 in Column N, count-bys of 4
in Column G, and count-bys of 5 in Column O. Numbers should not appear in more
than 1 square.
• Make two sets of number cards labeled 1–9. Place the numbers in a bag.
• Draw two cards from the bag. Multiply the two numbers.
• Look at your bingo card. If the product of the two numbers appears on
your card, cross out the product or cover it.
• Play continues until a player has completely covered all the numbers in
a row, column, or diagonal. When this occurs, the player says ‘‘BINGO!’’
Check students’ bingo cards to make sure the
count-bys are in the correct column.
