Construction Management Plan
Small Residential Projects
What is a Construction Management Plan?
A Construction Management Plan (CMP) is an agreement between the builder or developer and
the City of Subiaco, addressing the issues that are relevant during building activity. A CMP must
explain in detail how a range of health, safety, traffic and amenity issues relating to the
construction site will be managed to reduce the impact on the surrounding community.
When is a CMP required?
A CMP may be required as a condition of development approval. In this case it should be
submitted together with the application for a building permit. The city’s Building Services may also
request a CMP after receiving an application for a building permit if they believe it is appropriate
for the particular works.
When can this template be used?
This template may be used as the basis for a CMP if the works relate to a single residential
dwelling. This template is not sufficient for large or commercial projects.
