Making a Spore Print

ACTIVITY SHEET
Make a spore print on this paper. Put a mushroom cap gill-side
down in the box below. Flatten the cap slightly. Cover it with an
upside-down plastic cup. Leave the mushroom cap undisturbed
for 24 or 48 hours.
After 24 or 48 hours, remove the cup. Carefully lift the mushroom
cap straight up, and throw it away. Examine the spore print with
a magnifier. Describe what you see.
