FOR
FAMILY CHILD CARE HOMES
This contains instructions needed to file an application for
a Family Child Care Home license, and to gain access to
and print forms.
Family Child Care is non-medical care and supervision
for children, in the provider’s own home, for periods less
than 24 hours. A license may be issued for a Small
Family Child Care Home or a Large Family Child Care
Home. A Small Family Child Care Home provides care
for up to 6 children or for up to 8 children if certain
requirements are met. A Large Family Child Care Home
provides care for up to 12 children, or for up to 14
children if certain requirements are met.
