School districts and charter schools electing to provide 200 days of instruction for FY 2018

must be approved by the Arizona Department of Education (ADE) prior to June 1, 2017.

• Will provide 200 or more days of instruction for all schools within the school

district or charter school, with the last day of instruction occurring prior to

June 30, 2018, and

• Will increase total instructional time provided as required by A.R.S. §15-901

by a minimum of 10%.

Important Information:

• Approved districts and charters may increase their base level amount by 5%. (

Please

include the 5% increase on your budget’s Worksheet C in order for the additional funding to be included in

state aid

• 5% increase to base level amount for charter schools is subject to sponsor approval of

200 day instructional calendar.

• Governing board authorization is required and has been attached to the official

request. (Check the box to confirm)
