Spinning Card Template

Tracking your spinning projects in a file will help you see the progress of your

spinning, as well as provide info should you want to repeat a spinning project.

Use this template to print out Spinning project cards on 4” x 6” index cards.

Write info about the projects, then scissor‐snip at the top and bottom of the card to

create notches in the card. Wind a sample of the single, and the plied yarn. You

might also want to staple a lock of the prepared fiber to the card for reference.

I have also stapled small knit samples of the wool, as a few wraps of the finshed

yarn does not often show the coloring if it is a kettle‐dyed project.
