Annual Performance/Salary Review
Town of Ocean View
All permanent status employees will participate in a performance review with their
supervisor on or about one year from date of hire and each succeeding year thereafter.
This process comprises a guideline whereby there should be at least one annual
assessment of each employee which will serve as a formal basis for any salary
adjustments.
Performance/salary reviews will not automatically result in a salary increase. Factors to
be considered in the performance review include but are not limited to job knowledge,
quantity and quality of work, promptness in completing assignments, cooperation,
initiative, reliability, attendance, judgment and acceptance of responsibility. If
recommended by the reviewing supervisor and approved by the Mayor/Town Manager,
any salary adjustment would be based on the performance review rating.
