How to measure the correct size of rug for your horse

Measure from (A) at the centre point of the chest, over the high point of the shoulder, and

to (B) at the centre of the tail.

Turnout Rugs : Subtract 4 inches

Stable Rugs : Subtract 6 inches

How to fit your Horseware Rug

Make sure that the tail is lifted over the fillet strap and that the strap is securely attached on

both sides. This will prevent the rug from blowing forward.

Where possible pull the tail through the strapping on the inside of the tail flap.

When closing the surcingles on the rug use the following order

o Middle

o Cross over the two outer surcingles

Make sure the surcingle hangs at least 10cm – 20cm below the horses belly.
