Treble Clef
Task 1: Read the following information
Music is written onto a stave just like the music we have
been using in class to play each instrument. A stave is
made up of 5 lines and 4 spaces. Each note is placed either
on a line or in a space. We can tell which note is which by
reading which line or space the note is on. At the start of

each line is a clef. The clef we have been using in class is
called the treble clef. If you have a close look at the treble clef you might notice
that the belly of the clef looks like a letter G. The belly of the treble clef is
wrapped abound the second line which is the note G. This is why the treble clef is
also called the G clef.
