LETTER OF ASSURANCE
A “LETTER OF ASSURANCE” applies to any 10-month employee who is
paid by an education institution and is expected to return in basically the
same capacity in the upcoming school year.
The letter should be
completed and filed in the employee’s file at the end of each school year.
This form is especially important in the event an employee should file for
benefits during the summer months.
