Overview/Job Description

Foundation Source Philanthropic Services Inc., the nation’s largest provider of services for

private foundations, is searching for an Application Support Engineer.

This is an exciting opportunity to directly impact the satisfaction and mission of many of the

nation’s private foundations. This position has direct impact on customers’ positive experience

and will also contribute to special projects to resolve specific client needs.

Candidates must have a passion for customer satisfaction and a desire to learn. We are seeking

an experienced, self-motivated, and creative individual who has strong leadership and

communication skills. Must be able work closely with customers and with other engineers to

solve technical needs.

Essential Functions

Work closely with our Private Client Advisor team and our software engineers to complete

special projects and customer support related tasks.

Understand needs of the customer and the best way to solve technical issues.

Facilitate the communication of new design ideas and ways to reduce customer issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Must have a strong working knowledge of SQL.

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a software developer.

Self starter with strong self-management skills

Ability to organize and manage priorities

Beneficial Skills

Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration skills.

Apache and Tomcat experience.

Java experience.
