* Timing was recorded after the required pilot hole was drilled before using the Brand A tile bit
The way to read the chart is the PPSB was able to drill 12 holes with 1 bit and it took 21 sec to drill the 1st hole,
21 sec the 2nd hole and so on until the 12th hole took 1 min 10 sec.
The purpose of the testing was to compare the PorcelainPlus Speedbit to other bits currently on the market for durabilty and speed.
Result speed and durabilty will vary depending upon a number of different factors (including hardness of tile, drill, installer, etc.)
and above results do not guarantee the quantity of holes or speed but shows the PPSB's performance relative to other bits.
Results show that the PorcelainPlus Speedbit drilled three times as many holes as its closest competitor and more than twice as fast (or even
faster) than most of their competitors.
An X in a cell means that the bit was not able to drill those holes (ex: Brand M was able to drill 4 holes before it wasn't usable anymore)
Testing was done by Scodd Industries with 1/4" bit from each manufacturer dipping the tip in water every 5 sec throughout the process
with a Makita cordless drill & fully charged battery on a Class 4, 3/8" thick Porcelain Tile
