Job Overview

We are looking for highly motivated Massage Therapists to join the Nunova team in our

mission to improve the health and well-being of our patients. The Massage Therapist will

administer professional massage and body treatments to our patients. They must have a

thorough knowledge of numerous massage modalities, excellent communication skills, and be

able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness

solutions to meet the needs of our patients. They must be a registered massage therapist in good

standing in Alberta province. This position offers a competitive remuneration package and

multiple avenues for both personal and professional growth.

Job Responsibilities

•

Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in an out-patient setting

accordance with clinic protocols and accepted certification practices.

•

Make clients feel welcome and comfortable and promote the benefits of massage therapy as

specific to each client and recommend frequency;

•

Be on time for each massage appointment and perform services within the appropriate time

allotted for the service;

•

Maintain the treatment rooms in a neat professional manner including stocking products

and linens, cleaning and instrument sterilization.

•

Work to build a massage therapy client base, and assist in developing and implementing

marketing ideas for Nunova Wellness;

•

Completes required client notes, maintains accurate documentation and filing of client files

after each visit;

•

Maintain a positive attitude, be flexible, and contribute toward a quality work environment;

•

Assists in activities including staff meetings, promotions; clean-up and housekeeping.
