The Tooth Fairy
Tooth Fairy Land
Dearest Friend,
So you lost your first tooth! I’m so proud of you. You were very brave when it
came out and I’m excited to take it home to my castle in Fairyland. Every time
you lose a tooth I will leave a present in exchange for it under your pillow.
I have been doing this job a long time. I was even the one who took your
parents’ teeth when they were little kids. Your mother was five years old
when I got her first tooth and your dad was seven. You are right in the middle
at six years old and I think that’s the perfect number! You look just like they
did with that cute new gap in your smile.
When your parents were younger, I gave them 50 cents a tooth. With these
changing times, though, I’ve decided to give you $1.50! That's a whole dollar
more than your parents got as kids. Aren’t you a lucky kid!
Those teeth of yours are worth a lot to me, so if you want to keep getting the
big bucks make sure that you brush and floss your teeth every night to keep
them nice and healthy. I’ll be back the next time you lose a tooth!
Love,
