- Zealously represents appellants before AFCCA, CAAF and USSC, ensuring integrity of the military justice system
- Presents appellate briefs and oral arguments before the appellate courts, ensuring appellants' rights are safeguarded
- Prepares/reviews motions to the appellate courts, such as requests for extraordinary relief and writs of mandamus
- Mentors and assists trial-level defense counsel concerning motion practice and preservation of issues for appeal
