Scoring System:
The Summary of Research Proposal (research plan) and Research Proposal Attachment
(program requirements) will both be scored to derive the final LOI score.
The score for each section is a suggested weighting. 30% weight each is given to the Summary
of Research Proposal and the Knowledge Translation plan. The maximum total number of points
is 20.
The total score requires conversion before entry in ResearchNet. ResearchNet only accepts
scores from 0.0-4.9, in intervals of 0.1.
This form will tabulate your final score automatically by dividing your total score by 4 and
rounding to the nearest point 0.1; maximum of 4.9.
Adjust the final score you enter in ResearchNet, as needed, according to your appreciation of
relative ranking.
