It is recommended, though not required, that the student submit this form prior to taking the petitioned course.

This form is used to request credit toward a Pardee MA degree program for non-standard courses taken at

Boston University or through cross-registration. This is not the form to be used when requesting transfer

credits from another institution. Additionally, IREP students petitioning to have a course count toward the

CEES component of their degree program should use the CEES petition form (not this form) and obtain

approval from the CEES DGS. CEES petition forms should be submitted to the Pardee School once approved

1) A brief description of why you feel this course fits into your curriculum.

2) A copy of the syllabus, including a reading materials list and a list of assignments.

3) A list of all course transfers or petitions you have already been granted.
