BJ’s Rentals provides California statue lien releases. Lien release request form is not required to obtain a lien release but hopefully
convenient for you and helpful to us to expedite your request. Completed lien releases will be faxed and mailed as instructed. If lien
release cannot be completed, you will be notified by fax or phone. Please allow 24 hours for your request to be processed.
TYPES OF RELEASES
Conditional Waiver and Release Upon Progress Payment (Form 1)
This release states that the customer is making a progress payment for a specific amount and through a specific
date and upon receipt of amount indicated on release that BJ's Rentals will be paid through the specific date.
Unconditional Waiver and Release Upon Progress Payment (Form 2)
This release states that the customer has made a progress payment through a specific date, which means that all
invoices through that period must be paid in full. If there are any unpaid invoices a #1 release will be issued instead.
Conditional Waiver and Release Upon Final Payment (Form 3)
Customer is making final payment on a project where no further rentals will be utilized. This release states that once
the amount stated is paid, BJ's Rentals is paid in full for said project.
Unconditional Waiver and Release Upon Final Payment (Form 4)
This release states that BJ's Rentals has been paid in full and there are no existing rentals on said project and all
invoices previously billed have been paid in full. If payment is being made (or has been made) by check, a #4
release will be issued upon verification that the check has cleared customer's bank.
