SCIENCE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

APPLICATION

1. Requirements: overall 80 average in each class, 85 average in each

Science courses (both unweighted)

2. Eligibility for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors

3. You must have taken at least 2 honors or upper level science

courses:

• Honors Earth Science

• Honors Living Environment

• Honors Chemistry

• AP Environmental Science

• AP Biology

• AP Chemistry

• APB Physics

• APC Physics

4. 2 Recommendations (one must be from a science teacher that you

had for a full year)

5. Dues: $20 due with application, cash only (this covers the

certificate you receive when inducted as well as tassels for graduation)

6. Place completed application, along with the $20 cash in an

envelope.

Make sure the envelope has your name, grade, and this

year’s science teacher on front

7. Please return the envelope to Mrs McMahon’s in room E203 by

Friday February 6, 2015.

Late submissions will not be accepted.

Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.

In the event you do

not qualify, your money will be returned to you.
