Directions: Write a summary for at least every 30 pages you read. You will be able to use your reading logs for
reference if you decide to take the Accelerated Reader tests. Therefore, the more you write, the easier the test
may be. Depending on the number of pages in your book, you might need an additional log or lined piece of paper to
complete the requirement of a summary for every 30 pages. When writing the summaries, remember the five Ws
of writing (Who, What, When, Where, Why). Make sure your summaries include the main events of the plot.
