Choice #2: Thanksgiving Menu
DEADLINE: November 15, 2015
THE ASSIGNMENT:
Write a menu of what you think the main character from a book you recently read might like to eat for
his or her Thanksgiving meal.

(with turkey on the side, since that’s what most people eat on Thanksgiving)

Use the template on the next page to help you write a Thanksgiving menu for a character from a book
you have recently read.
When you are done, there are 2 ways you can turn in your work:
1)
Have a parent scan your menu template with a computer and then email your final document as
a jpeg to Wendi Bergsma, WRITE ON Coordinator, at b.wbergsma@att.net. Please make sure to
type WRITE ON in the subject line of your email to avoid it being sent to spam.
2) OR bring your completed paper to your teacher, and they will turn it in for you to the WRITE
ON committee.
Your work will be published on the WRITE ON web site by the end of the month( ),
and you will receive a small prize for your hard work!
