8. Read a book within your reading level that is part of a series (Hank the Cowdog, Junie B. Jones, Chroni-
cles of Narnia, Pendragon, Percy Jackson, Babysitters Club, Princess Diaries, etc. )
9. Read a Joke or riddle book (look in 800’s nonfiction section).
10. Read a book about a bug, bird, dinosaur or other animal in the 500’s nonfiction section.
11. Read a book from the 900’s nonfiction section about a place you would like to visit.
12. Read a book of your choice.
13. Check out a craft book (745.5), cookbook (641.5) or science book (500’s) and make something to share
or show the librarians (optional).
14. Re-read your favorite book from when you were little.
15. Read a book from the “New Books” shelf (Juvenile or Young Adult).
16. Read a book from the 398.2 nonfiction section (folklore).
17. Read a book by an author whose last name starts with the same letter as your last name.
