Make Up Work - Missed Field Research Trip

You have 2 options to choose from:

Option 1- Go out whale/dolphin marine life watching on a Saturday and do what every-

one else did. Let me know in advance if you choose this option to be sure that I will

be on board. I am on board most every Saturday. You will also need the instruction

packets - available in class.

Option 2- Go to a local pier at low tide (+0.5ft or lower - check a tide chart to plan your

trip) and fully analyze the life and zones on a pier piling. Instructions for this option

are included in this packet.

No matter which option you choose, you are still responsible for the in-class plankton

lab which compares offshore plankton from the Santa Barbara Channel to our local

Zuma Beach plankton.

Make up field study report is due on or
