What Am I?
If I were a part of a house, I would be the basement, you can’t
see me, but I am very important, what am I?
I am like the foundation of a house, I keep your teeth in place so
they can function as they should. I am soft and pink, what am I?
I go all the way down into the root of the tooth, under the gums.
If you have a pain in your tooth, you can be sure it is coming from
me. Like the inside of a house, where you find all the stuff, inside
of me you can find nerve endings and the blood supply your
teeth need to be healthy. What am I?
I cover the root of the tooth, and anchor it down into the bone,
what am I?
I am very hard and protect the inside of your tooth, like the walls
of a house. I am shiny and white and need to be brushed regu-
larly to remove plaque, what am I?
I am like the entire outside of a house, you can see me sticking up
out of gums, what am I?
I am softer than enamel but still a hard, bone like substance and
yellow in color. I protect the very center of your tooth, like insu-
lation in a house. What part am I?
