Periodic Trends Project
Develop a periodic trends chart/visual for two properties of the elements. One should be a physical
property and the other should be a chemical property. You may choose from the lists below or find
your own property. These topics will be discussed in class as we cover Chapters 5, 6 & 7.
Make your own chart/visual using any media. Illustrate the trends - numbers are not necessary,
while originality and creativity are important! Suggestions include spheres, colors, stacked blocks,
depth of color, poster, T-shirt, video, 3-D model, etc. This project is due Tuesday, March 16,
2010. No late projects will be accepted.
