Every exhibitor of the show that will be making retail sales is required to have a Rhode Island Sales Tax

Permit and collect 7% tax on all retail sales. If you do not have this permit, you are required to

obtain a TEMPORARY PERMIT which will be available at the show office.

Whether or not you are making sales, you must complete this form

Note: You can get this temporary from us at the Show Office on the day you move in.

Bring TWO business checks to the Show with you:

1. To purchase temporary permit: $10 (payable to “R.I. Division of Taxation”)

2. To pay tax at the end of the show (also payable to “R. I. Division of Taxation”)

* An exhibitor selling non-taxable products (clothing, publications, etc) is still required to have a

permit to make sales, although you will not be required to collect sales tax on those items.
