Telecommuting Site Checklist
The following site checklist should be used during the initial site visit to the employee’s proposed home
office. You and the employee must determine if the home office space is adequate for telecommuting
purposes. The overall success of the telecommuting arrangement is dependent on the work space
assessment along with the ability of the employee to have the capacity to complete the assigned work in
the home environment. If it is determined that the proposed work space is not adequate then the
Telecommuting Agreement will not work and should not be pursued further until the proper space is
obtained.
