BEHAVIOR CONTRACT
Paris & the Chateaux Trip July 2015
IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE, YOU MUST ALWAYS DEMONSTRATE THE
FOLLOWING:
A consistently high work ethic in school
Honesty and integrity
Respect towards others
Self-control (physically and emotionally)
Outstanding citizenship in our school and community
Meet deadlines in a timely fashion
Be a role model in our school and community
YOU MAY JEOPARDIZE YOUR PARTICIPATION BY:
Not being a student in good standing as defined by the code of conduct in the MHS Student
Handbook
Serving multiple detentions, ISS, or OSS
Failing academically
Tardiness to school or classes
Vandalizing property of others
Being insubordinate in school or the community
Showing a lack of respect for other people, cultures, and races
WHILE WE ARE IN EUROPE:
Will NOT use illegal drugs or tobacco at ANY TIME.
Will NOT use alcohol at ANY TIME except on the wine tour (only for those with parental
permission).
Follow directions by any EF Tour Guide and/or Chaperones
Be polite and respectful
Do NOT break curfew (there will be room checks!)
Be on time for all mandatory activities
Follow all rules designated by MHS and EF
No members of the opposite sex in rooms at any time
All scheduled activities are MANDATORY
Keep hotel rooms and buses clean
As an unofficial ambassador of my school and my country, I ____________________________,
understand that while participating on this France Trip I am representing Midlakes High School, the
State of New York, and the United States of America. Therefore, I will act in a way that reflects
positively on these institutions. This includes respect for diverse people, values, and viewpoints that
I will encounter while traveling.

**The above is meant to serve as a guideline for participation in the France Trip 2015. Ms. Trapp reserves
the right to decide if a student is not following this contract, and the student would forfeit his or her trip.
REMEMBER: The deposit is non-refundable however; portions of the trip are refundable as per EF policy.
