Portly Paper Pumpkins
Crafter level: Intermediate
What you'll need
Printouts of 6 pumpkin templates
Stapler
2 to 3 sheets 12-by-12-in. orange card stock
1 sheet green scrapbook paper
1 sheet green card stock for leaf
Scissors
Craft knife, ruler and cutting mat
Glue stick
How to make it
1. Roughly cut out and staple the pumpkin templates to the sheets of orange card stock. Make
sure you staple the paper to the card stock outside of the pumpkin cutting lines. (This will keep
the paper from moving around while you cut out the pumpkins.)
2. Cut around the outside solid lines of the pumpkins through the paper and card stock with
scissors. Cut out the slots and notches on each pumpkin carefully with the craft knife and ruler.
Tip: Keep the template panels paired with the correct card stock panels so that it’s easier to
assemble later.
3. Cut out the 2 pumpkin stems from green paper using the template provided, and glue both
pieces to the front and back of Center Panel 1B.
4. Assemble the pumpkin using the steps outlined in the pumpkin templates.
5. Cut out the leaf shape from the green card stock using the template provided. Cut out the slot
carefully with craft knife and ruler. Add your name to the leaf (optional) and then slide the leaf
over the pumpkin stem.
