Adidas sportswear are sold worldwide in many different countries in different continents.
2 different size charts have been observed. Please
DO NOT assume your size
blindly by
simply choosing the same size as your past purchase without knowing if they belong to the same
size chart.
A size chart is adopted for use in countries like Europe and North America. There is no known term to
describe this size chart. Perhaps, "International Sizing" is the most appropriate term to describe this
size chart since it is widely used in many countries in Europe and America.
In Asian, Adidas adopted a different size chart on some, NOT all, of its products. This size chart is known
as "Asian Sizing". Adidas products with Asian Sizing can be found in Asian countries including, but not
limited to, China and its territories (including Taiwan and Hong Kong), South Korea, Singapore and
possibility more Asian countries. It is important to understand that Asian Sizing may be only found in Asia
BUT not all Adidas products found in Asia are Asian Sizing.
Based on observation, Asian sizing are found in Adidas Response and Supernova clothing. Asian sizing are
not found in TechFit clothing.
International Sizing is relatively bigger than Asian Sizing.
There is no available information made known openly to the public by Adidas on this difference.
Based on physical comparison of dimensions (especially the chest width and the vertical length for shirts),
International Sizing is typically 1 size biggger than Asian sizing .
E.g.
XS (in International Sizing) is estimated to be approximately equivalent to S (in Asian Sizing)
S (in International Sizing) is estimated to be approximately equivalent to M (in Asian Sizing)
M (in International Sizing) is estimated to be approximately equivalent to L (in Asian Sizing)
IMPORTANT: DO NOT assume your
size. Check the given dimension (chest width, vertical
length, etc) and compare them against the same type of clothing that your currently own. This
is the best way to determine your size when fitting is not possible.
