Menu Planning and Sample Menus
Some participants will have orders for both therapeutic diets and consistency-modified diets. These
are combination diets. A registered dietitian can assist centers in planning menus for participants on
combination diets.
For participants’ good health, centers must
be sure to prepare and serve the diets as prescribed
by the physician, swallowing therapist, or registered dietitian.
