Stem Footwear™ Sizing Instructions
How They Run
1.) In general, Stem Footwear runs 1/2 SIZE SMALL from the labeled US size, however you MUST measure your foot to get the right size.
2.) Fits best for medium to wide feet (not for narrow feet).
3.) See the chart below, Stem Footwear™ sizing does not correspond one-to-one with VFF. Measuring your own foot is required.

How to Measure Foot Length
1.) Stand with your heels against a vertical wall.
2.) Start with one foot, lean your body weight onto the foot with that knee bent slightly (foot lengthens when doing this).
3.) Slide a ruler under the foot and measure the length from the wall to the furthest point at the tip of the toe.
4.) Use the measurement of your longest foot and find your EU Size from the chart above.
How to Fit
1.) Tap your heel to the back.
2.) Your toes should fit close to the end of the shoe (less a than finger width), because it follows the natural shape of the foot.
3.) They will grow a 1/2 size after worn for the first day.
4.) The extra width at the toebox is designed to be there.
5.) Don't worry they should NOT feel "snug" like your other shoes.
6.) Don't lace tight to try to achieve a "snug" fit. This is natural fit.
Other Tips
1.) Machine washable gentle. DO NOT machine dry. Air dry ONLY. They may shrink up to a 1/2 size, but will stretch back out to size after worn.
2.) Stem Footwear can be worn with or without socks. We've found that when performing athletic activities Stem Footwear fits best without socks.
3.) If wearing socks, we recommend wearing Injinji™ five-toed socks. (Outdoor Series merino wool styles are my personal favorite)
4.) To improve healthy toe alignment we recommend wearing Stem Footwear™ with Correct Toes™ intermittently. (see instructions for use)
5.) Take off your shoes and go barefoot frequently. Barefooting is the best training to learn how to walk more naturally. Remember transition
slowly.
