“Five Dinosaurs”

1 dinosaur went out to play,

Over the hills and far away.

He had such enormous fun, he called for another dinosaur to come.

3 dinosaurs…

4 dinosaurs…

5 dinosaurs…the had such enormous fun, and then went home when the day was

done.

“Color Dinosaurs”

Pieces needed: enough simple dinosaur shapes in red, blue, yellow, green, and black

for each child to have one.

If your dinosaur is red, put it on your head.

If your dinosaur is blue, put it on your shoe.

If your dinosaur is yellow, put it on your elbow.

If your dinosaur is green, put it on your knee.

If you dinosaur is black, put it on your back.

Now use your ears, use your ears, and listen carefully;

If your dinosaur is _______, bring it up to me.

(Have each child bring their color of dinosaur to put on the flannelboard)
