You must leave your home in a clean and tidy condition. If you have caused any damage
to your home you must repair it before you leave, otherwise, you will be charged for any
repairs needed.
As the outgoing tenant you are reminded that it is your responsibility to: -
• Turn off the water, gas and electricity
• Leave the property in a safe condition
Return all keys ( at least 2 per lock)
You must remove all of your belongings, animals and rubbish from your house, loft, garden and
outside area. If you do not, we will charge you for removal and storage.
In addition to the above, you may be held responsible for the cost of reinstating any unauthorised
alterations, or damage caused and any costs incurred regarding the clearance.

I hereby authorise Durham City Homes to remove the furniture etc… that remains following the
end of your tenancy.
