Landlord   g rants   p ermission   t o   T enant   t o   k eep   t he   p et(s)   d escribed   h erein   o n   t he   P remises   ( also   r eferred  
to   a s   “ Property”)   s ubject   t o   t he   t erms   a nd   c onditions   o f   t he   L ease   a nd   t his   A ddendum.   L andlord   m ay  
revoke   p ermission   a t   a ny   t ime   i f   T enant   f ails   t o   c omply   w ith   a ny   o f   t he   t erms   o f   t he   L ease   a nd   t his  
Addendum   o r   i f   t he   p et(s)   p rovides   a   p roblem   o r   n uisance   t o   r oommates   o r   s urrounding   t enants   a nd   n o  
refund   w ill   b e   g ranted   f or   m onies   p aid.    
II.
Service,   G uide,   S ignal,   o r   S upport   A nimal:  
Under   t he   A mericans   w ith   D isabilities   A ct   ( ADA),   t he   t erm   “ pet”   e xcludes   a   s ervice,   g uide,  
signal,   o r   s upport   a nimal   u sed   b y   T enant   b ecause   o f   b lindness,   o r   d eafness,   o r   b ecause   o f   a  
physical   h andicap,   o r   b ecause   t he   T enant   i s   a   h andler   o r   t rainer   o f   s upport   o r   g uide   a nimals.  
The   A DA   d efines   “ service   a nimal”   a s   a   d og   t hat   h as   b een   i ndividually   t rained   t o   d o   w ork   o r  
perform   t asks   f or   t he   b enefit   o f   a n   i ndividual   w ith   a   d isability.  
The   l aws   o f   t he   S tate   o f   G eorgia   m ake   i t   i llegal   f or   a   L andlord   t o   r efuse   t o   r ent   p roperty   o r   t o  
otherwise   d iscriminate   a gainst   a ny   p erson   o n   t he   b asis   o f   a   s ervice   a nimal.   S ervice   a nimals   a nd  
lease   a greements   a re   a lso   g uided   b y   f ederal   l aw   u nder   t he   A DA   a s   w ell   a s   u nder   t he   F air  
Housing   A ct.

damage   f or   a ny   p et   i n   t he   l eased   a partment.

Roommate   A greement   f or   P et:  
Tenant   u nderstands   t hat   a ll   r oommates   m ust   a gree   t hat   a   p et   b e   a llowed   i nside   t he   l eased  
property.   S ignatures   a re   r equired   b elow   f or   a ll   r oommates   f or   t he   a pproval   o f   a   p et   f rom  
Hendley   P roperties.
