The building work will be carried out in accordance with the Building Act 2016, the Building Regulations 2016 and
the National Constructuin Code.
This is an agreement pursuant to s. 139 of the Building Act 2016 between the applicant(s) for this project and the Brighton
Council Permit Authority in relation to the proposed building work included in this application.
The agreement requires the Brighton Council Permit Authority to issue a building permit within seven working days of
receiving the required information specified in s.143(1) & s. 139 of the Building Act 2016.
If these matters have not been satisfied, the Brighton Council Permit Authority reserves the right to refuse the issue of a
building permit within seven ( 7) days or a period agreed between the applicant and the Permit Authority, pursuant to s.
142 of the Building Act 2016.
