P.E.
6th-8th grade students are required to dress out for physical education and
must wear a P.E. uniform to class. The P.E. uniform consists of a t-shirt and
shorts. Proper tennis shoes must be worn. On cold days, students may wear
sweats and/or a sweatshirt. These items (t-shirt, shorts, sweats, sweatshirt)
must be solid and maroon, white, black, gray or navy colored. Shorts used for the
P.E. uniform must be knee length. Clothing with the Heritage logo is always
permitted. All parts of the P.E. uniform must meet the “Dress For Success”
guidelines found in the Student Handbook.
Academic Writing

19. 1 composition notebook/spiral notebook (of any color because it will be left in
crates in class)
20. Small packet of 8 ½ x 11 inch college ruled lined paper (will be stored in students’
writing file in class
21. 2-3 pens (black or blue only)/2-3 sharpened pencils with personal sharpener
22. Independent reading book (SSR) and assignments for other classes (in case
students finish assignment early)
