5. I agree that I am solely responsible for any failure on my part to fulfill obligations

under the mortgage with the University’s Mortgage Carrier and I agree to

indemnify SFU for any claim, lawsuit, damage, or loss of any kind resulting from

any failure on my part to fulfill obligations under my mortgage with the

University’s Mortgage Carrier.

6. I recognize that should I cease employment with Simon Fraser University, the

Mortgage Interest Subsidy will also cease. I agree to advise the University’s

Mortgage Carrier immediately that my employment with Simon Fraser University

has ceased. I also agree to repay to SFU any overpayment of the Mortgage Interest

Subsidy I receive after my employment with the University has ceased.

7. I am also aware and agree that should I cease my employment with Simon Fraser

University having served less than five years in a continuing position, I will be

required to repay in full the Mortgage Interest Subsidy provided to me by the

University.
