Now make your option selection. At Year 12 English is compulsory if:

You answered YES to wishing to study at university – please select Level 2 Written English or Visual English and

write this as a first option choice.

b. You have not successfully completed Level 1 Literacy – you will have to do 12 Applied English. This will be

determined on your results and will replace your 6

choice option IF you haven’t put English on your option list.

For other students Written English or Visual English is highly recommended but we recognise that there may be a set of

options that better suits the pathway you wish to make.
