The current fire code requires that all emergency lighting be checked each MONTH, this includes Exit
lights and backup emergency lighting, for a minimum of 30 seconds to ensure proper operation. Complete
this form monthly after each inspection; it will be checked on your next annual inspection. Failure to
check and record monthly checks shall result in penalties.
