Guidelines for Contacting Parents/Guardians!

1. Identify yourself by name and that you are with the Good News Club that meets at Chisholm

Elementary on Tuesday afternoons.!

2. Thank the parent/guardian for allowing their child to participate in our Good News Club.!

3. If a child has accepted Jesus as their Savior you will want to share this with the parent/guardian. If

you sent salvation literature home with the student, or you’re aware that the teacher or a counselor

did so, then you can tell the parent that their child took a booklet home that they might enjoy

reading with their child.!

4. Ask the parent/guardian if they have any questions and/or concerns about the Good News Club.!

5. Ask the parent/guardian if there is anything about which they would like for you to pray? You can

offer to pray with them over the phone if you feel it is appropriate.!

6. Determine whether the family attends a local church. !
