Story Suggestion:

Luke 1:26-38

The birth of the Lord Jesus came about in a miraculous way. A simple, pure, young woman named

Mary was visited by one of God’s angels. The angel told Mary that she would have a son by the Holy

Spirit of God. This son, Jesus, would be the Savior of the world. Mary responded obediently to the

angel’s message. She prayed and said, “Let it be done to me according to Thy Word.”

Game Ideas:

Telephone Game

Directions:

Have the children sit in a line side-by-side. Start the game by whispering a

message in the first child's ear. Tell each child to pass along the message that you

recited and see if they will keep the message intact all the way down the line. It

may make it easier for the children if you divide them into two groups for a big

class. Now let a child start a message and see what happens.

Variation: Make “telephones” out of Styrofoam cups and string and have children

work in pairs to see if they can give each other messages through their "phones."
