PROGRAM ACCREDITATION

54-2307

Doctoral degree, in psychology or a related field,

from accredited school.

TRAINING PROGRAM ORGANIZATION

500.02.

Training program must be a recognizable,

coherent organizational entity within the school.

500.03.

Must be a clear authority & primary

responsibility for the core & specialty areas.

Program must be an organized sequence of study.

500.04.

500.05.

Must be an identified training faculty & a

psychologist responsible for the program.

500.06.

Program must have an identifiable body of

students matriculated in the program for a degree.

500.07.

Program must include supervised practicum,

internship or laboratory training appropriate to

the practice of psychology.

500.08.

Curriculum shall encompass at least 3 academic

years of full time graduate study.

Graduate course work shall include:

1. Scientific & professional ethics & standards.

2. Research design & methodology

3. Statistics

4. Psychometrics

5. Biological bases of behavior

6. Cognitive-affective basis of behavior

7. Social basis of behavior

8. Individual differences

QUALIFICATIONS OF SUPERVISORS

Supervisor shall be a licensed psychologist &

SUPERVISION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 1000 hours supervised experience in a

12 month period for monetary compensation.

2 years of post-graduate experience not including

contact per 20 hours of applicable experience.

Unsatisfactory performance does not count

EXAMINATION

Applicants shall pass the EPP with a score of no

Licensed psychologists shall document 20 hours
