Professional Re-exam fees MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: “Nevada Board of PE & LS”
May only retake exams every 6 months
Professional Engineer: $40
($100 if it has been more than a year since you sat for the exam)
NV GEOE Professional Engineer exam = $290
(only given in the fall, NCEES Registration is not
required)
NCEES Professional Land Surveyor: $40
($200 if it has been more than a year, does not includes NV 2-
hr PLS re-exam if required)
Nevada PLS 2-hr. exam only: $100
(Also offered in January & July in Board offices. NCEES Registration
is not required)
16 hr. Structural = $60
Vertical & Lateral Forces (Friday & Saturday)
8 hr. Structural = $30
Vertical Forces (Friday only)
8 hr. Structural = $30
Lateral Forces (Saturday only)

Late-Cancel fee for all exams = $50 per exam
No-Show fee for all exams = $50 per exam plus the re-exam fee above.
If it has been more than one year since you last completed an exam, a new application FEE is due.
(Not an entire new application, just the fee. You may contact the Board to confirm fee due)
NCEES registration required for all NCEES exams. Your re-exam must be approved by Nevada
Board before you register with NCEES. Additional fees will be due to NCEES.
