Notice To Volunteers

Paws and Prayers relies on volunteers to show our dogs at various locations on the weekends. Our

dogs come from owner surrenders, pounds, and right off the street. Because of various and

uncertain backgrounds, Paws and Prayers has little, if any, information on the dog’s history and past

behaviors/temperaments. Paws and Prayers will not allow a dog with any known temperament

problems to be handled by a volunteer who is not the foster of the dog, as the safety of our

volunteers is paramount.
