This application must be filed with the Zoning Officer for the construction or alteration of a

parking lot in compliance with Section 5.2:2 of the Big Rapids Zoning Ordinance.

This application must be accompanied by a parking lot plan illustrating all of the following:

Location of parking lot in relation to adjacent buildings, private driveways, landscaping,

public alleys and public streets.

A design of the parking area indicating sub-base, base, and surface course materials and

compaction.

Dimensions of the parking lot, travel lanes within the lot, and parking spaces within the

lot.

Size and shape of the parking lot and associated access drives as well as any surface

markings including directional arrows, entrance and/or exit markings, handicapped space

markings and striping.

Any landscaping within the parking area will be identified.

Location of any storm water retention areas or inlets as well as any connections to

proposed or existing storm sewer.

Location of any existing or proposed curb cuts.
