4) Reflections to your writing examples:
Reflection to Analytical/Persuasive – ¾ pages to 1 page of writing describing and reflecting on
your paper. Whether it is a good or bad example, if you liked the assignment or not, what you
would keep, what you would change, and how the style of writing might prepare you for the
future, etc.
Reflection on Creative/Descriptive – ¾ pages to 1 page of writing describing and reflecting on
your paper. Whether it is a good or bad example, if you liked the assignment or not, what you
would keep, what you would change, and how the style of writing might prepare you for the
future, etc.
Reflection on Response to Literature – ¾ pages to 1 page of writing describing and reflecting on
your paper. Whether it is a good or bad example, if you liked the assignment or not, what you
would keep, what you would change, and how the style of writing might prepare you for the
future, etc.
Reflection to Resume – ¾ pages to 1 page of writing describing and reflecting on your resume
and cover letter. What you feel you can do to make it better, what you plan to add to it in the
future, and how this particular assignment is beneficial to junior year students approaching senior
year.
5) Book list – alphabetical list of works we have read in class and those you have read on your
own this semester. Novels and Plays are underlined or italicized. Poetry and short stories are in
quotes. Historical documents are capitalized properly.
**** Be sure to be neat and all works should be publishable drafts – no marks or grades on
them. You may use papers written in other classes as long as they fit the criteria and
written this semester. Portfolio is due __________ – no exceptions.
