We will now address progress and compliance issues:
6. Have the parents made sufficient progress to make it possible for the child to safely return home? (Applies
only when the plan is return to parent and is made separately for each parent with legal rights to the child. It
is important to note that this finding is not asking whether the child can safely return home right now. It is
asking whether the parent’s rate of progress within the review period was sufficient to make it likely that the
child will be able to return home within the timelines provided by the Adoption and Safe Families Act.)
7. Has DHS made sufficient efforts in developing the concurrent permanency plan? (Applies only when the plan
is return to parent.)
8. Is DHS in compliance with the case plan and court orders? (Applies in all cases)
